Who are we?

We are 3 seperate teams, each with their own point of view on how deviantART should work. United into one goal to put are differences together to help improve artists around deviantART.
Each artist has its own charactiristics not just by their own style, unique skills and ideals. However, all artist want to improve somehow, Art-Conflict help unite differences into a goal of improving others and ourselves.

Decide which team is close to your view. Join it and help others see how your differences can help others improve.

Contests:

There will be team contests
As soon as we get team numbers high.

When one team wins a contest
All members of that team win and prizes get divided equally between the team.

What would the contests look like?
Contests will take different forms such as:

  • ONE FOR ALL. Each team member submits deviations and the team selects one to represent their team's best deviation in a contest.

  • ALL FOR ALL. Each team member submits one deviation and each deviation takes part in the contest.

  • ONE AGAINST ALL. A submission such a stock photo is given to all teams. Each team must present their deviation for the contest.

other forms will be also available.

Who holds contests?
Any team can host a contest at any time during this project.
Donating prizes
Any team can donate as much prizes as they like to any contest.
Also none-team members can also donate prizes.
Judges
The judges will be mostly the prize detonators and other teams.
If the form of the contest is voting, then every team member can vote for another team but not their own team.

Which Team speaks to you?

Every team is different.
  • BLUE - The sapphire team: Are water. They are calm, rational and honest.

  • RED - the ruby team
  • : Is fire. They are highly emotional, active, funny.
  • Purple - the Amethyst team
  • : Is Cosmos. They are perceptive, supportive and open.

What is art-conflict and what is it not?

  • Its about words that have weight, a soul. Words that don't forget so easily. Words that change your vision.

  • It is support for artists all around.

  • It is an event in which all teams participate.

  • It is improving your critique abilities and your supportive capabilities.

  • It is about improving your Art by hearing fair and meaningful words about it.

  • What is it not?
  • It is not a ranting club.

  • It is not a butter legion.

  • It is not deviation category only club.

  • It is not a place for people who do not wish to improve themselves.

One good critiques is worth a 100 of applause.

There is always something good about every deviation, even if a person has no skill and just isnt cut out for the job, there isn't a reason why you shouldn't help him become better. There is always something nice you can say about his work and there is always room to improve it, support him, don't scare them away from reading your critique.
  • Keeping this in mind, when you sign up for any team. Members of the opposite team will always only try to tell you how to improve your skills. Where they see mistakes are made that can be removed. However, most members don't tell critiques if they don't see room to improve, it is imporatant to understand that Art-Conflict isn't about pointless ranting.
  • It is about allowing other teams to critique you by supporting you.
  • It is about allowing your team members not to agree with the given critique and protect you.

  • Conflicts.

To start an art-conflict in a deviation if you don't have a premium account to write a critique. You can write like this. "CRITIQUE FROM RED/BLUE/AMYTHIST TEAM: <insert constructive critique here>"
this way the enemy team members will know you are not bluntly ranting if you don't have good communication skills. But understand you are trying to improve them.
That is where the conflict can begin, your team members support your critique, while the enemy team
You can link your critiques here to keep easier track of critiques, best critiques will be featured.

    Request Critiques.

You can include a link to your deviation on which you wish to hold an art-conflict.
